Our impact
Ring of Kerry Holiday homes are sustainably built obtaining a small carbon footprint with solar (coming soon to tig lochán), triple glazed windows, under floor heating and air to water source heating at both properties to reduce energy use.
Appliances
Both properties have newly installed energy efficient appliances.
Mixer faucets and water saving shower heads are fitted to reduce water consumption.

Bins and recycling guidelines are provided at each property.

Please remember where possible to shop locally and enjoy quality Irish Produce. This can be one of the most enjoyable aspects of travel, buying local foods and produce, and this naturally has huge benefit by reducing carbon footprint. The Pond at Tiġ Lochán
Our swimming pool is an ecological pond with a designated bathing area that is surrounded by aquatic plants and flowers that naturally purify the water. No chemicals are used, so your skin will stay silky smooth and our gardens stay healthy. With respect to the environment the pond attracts dragonflies, damselflies, water boatmen and pond-skaters, which subsequently attract woodland and garden birds, which also drink and bathe in the water.
